ibluckey I have an even better one. about 10 years ago we had a customer that complained that our folding cartons were jamming in the manufactering machines. They threatened to pull the contract from us because of our poorly manufactured boxes. We came and evaluated the line we noticed that box machine wasn't fully opening the cartons, we explained that if we just adjusted this... when three people dove at us and said we couldn't...

DSM, Omaha, any new MKE spoke added with small equipment opens the door to mainline to ATL, MCO, BWI etc. Critical mass for FF program and advertising is approached. An additional benefit of small aircraft might be to keep seasonal stations open yearround, like Burlington VT. In this case the union might cry Burlington-BWI is mainline, but IMO adapting to the seasons helps everyone. msg 14890

OM... Apology accepted... although it was 717FO who I thought was being unfairly attacked... nonetheless, appreciate your civility. I know I have typed things here without thinking about how people might perceive them. Boydata and 717FO... I think that one of the problems with the way that these protracted negotiations have gone is that the pilot group no longer trusts management. I'm not arguing whether that is deserved or not......

>>>But as I see it, the deal with Skywest is that we are selling seats or THEIR flights in THEIR airplanes with THEIR name on the plane. Sort of like interlining that was once quite common among airlines. Not quite a code-share but it sure almost quacks like a duck.<<<<   It does more than "Quack".  The name on the plane may say SkyWest, but that is about...

when i was interviewed and subsequently hired at AAI we had ryan flying to the west coast and air wisconsin flying CRJs. we had a handful of 737s and my new hire class of 15 included 5 slots for 737 FO. we obviously took all of it back into our pilot group. does anyone on the board recall what the limitations were for the ryan/west coast flying or the air wisconsin crj flying? i believe the sublease did have timeline constraints but i was too...

We closed up $.04 for the week to $4.15. It's better than a down week but not by much. It was a good move by AirTran to say the Thanksgiving traffic was up. We have increased capacity over last year so that does not necessarily mean that the L/F increased too. I believe it did but not by the amount of the capacity increase. The weather for the remainder of the weekend and early into next week looks good for air travel. Even New England...
