already did. they say the numbers were'nt (scrubbed) before issuance. they say to wait 7 - 10 days for it to go thru the process and if that doesn't work, to contact my local phone provider. what if i didn't have a local phone provider, ie, no land line? like i said, if nothing comes of this, not that big of a deal. thanks for your help.

I have had three phones from VM. I activate them online. Log into your account with your phone number and Vkey and theres an option to switch phone under the picture of your current phone It will ask your to enter your new phones esn number then just follow the directions until your new phone is activated ______ Doing this dose not erase your minutes, change your phone number or anything about your accout. Its quick and easy.

I couldn't find anything online that worked. i tried sending to @vmpix.com and @vmobl.com as an email, an attatchment, everything. i dont have an SD card or USB. with vmpix.com i get the message and it says picture message and recieving but it never opens then like 5 mins later it says failed. and the other one just sends a blank text. Everyone says the pics have to be in the JPEG (.jpg) format and that still didnt work. plus the picture...

It sounds like the guy who activated your account may have used a wrong name on your account. All you need to do is log on to your account at www.virginmobileusa.com with your cell number and 6 digit PIN, and verify that your name, address and other personal info is correct. If it isn't you can make your own edits right on the website.

I have the same phone. If u are texting alot,playing games,or surfing the web then its going to die faster than usual. check some of ur settings, such as the screen brightness,keytone,backlight
Dont use vibrate and ringtone at the same time it uses too much power. turn the blue tooth off
unplug your phone when its done charging

Sorry about your ringtone problems. If you go into your Virgin Alerts box under messaging on your phone, you might be able to open those messages and re-download the ringtones that didn't come or work correctly for you.
If this doesn't work, I recommend you call VM customer care at 888-322-1122.

i used to have Virgin Mobile ( NYSE: VM ) andi do not like them they did take away my minutes with out me using them the go phone from at&t is pretty good i paid 20 for unlimited texting and i got unlimited minutes after 7 and the weekends for $20

Set the text message up like you would normally do. In the "To:" box, just type in an email address instead of a cell phone number. You can input letters in a text message "To:" box.

The minutes belong to your account, not your phone. Your phone could get lost or stolen or it could break, and you would still have the minutes.
Get another phone, and make sure it's one that works with Virgin Mobile. Then call their customer service number and tell them you want to transfer your account to the new phone. They will guide you through the process over the phone.

i like to use Virgin Mobile ( NYSE: VM ) because i think they have the best texting plans on prepaid phones, i currenly have a virgin mobile shuttle but im looking into asking for a new one for christmas, i'd really like to have a keyboard since i do alot of texting however i have heard alot of bad reviews for the X-TC, are they true?? is it worth it to get the more expensive or uglier phones ...
