The sidekick is nice because the data plan is all- inclusive for web/messaging, but both the Sidekick and Samsung Behold are sub-par phones. The Beholds get returned almost every time we sold them because they stop working/work funny, which is why my store no longer carries them, and the Sidekick is unreliable because of T-Mobiles infrastructure. So i have a sidekick slide and i seriously want to get rid of it. And so my friend is selling a BlackBerry ( NSDQ: RIMM ) STORM. I am not too sure if its with TMOBILE. but if isnt. Is there anything i can do meaning call TMOBILE and try to say i switched PHONES? one of my friends said I CAN UNLOCK THE PHONE or something like that which i dont really understand. Yes- you can get themes on any phone using bluetooth file transfer from your computer (if it is compatible with bluetooth) or another sidekick with the theme install files.

I have Verizon ( NYSE: VZ ) and i really love the sidekick but all my friends have verizon...so texting is free, is verizon going to come up with any phones like the sidekick(Non that are like smart phones...verizon is making a lot of those lately =( Or do they have any like the side kick?

just go to options and select "copy contacts to phone" and that should do it lol hope that helps =)

can anyone help me my computer isnt reading my sidekick LX..i plug it into the computer and it charges and when i go into something (i forgot) it shows that my sidekick is plugged in but its not showing up in "my computer". when i do plug it in an "F" drive apprears and then when i unplug it disappears but when i try to click on the "F" drive it just says "please insert a...

Chocolate touch all the way.. Reason 1. T-Mobile ( NYSE: DT ) SUCKS ! 2. they all ways crash 3. For some apparent reason every now and then all your contacts get erased and the Chocolate touch doesn't do that

Nope, they use a neat track-ball to navigate the menus on the screen. But I am sure with the technologies, it is coming.

they use to sell them in T Mobile stores when i wanted one
but i dont know if they still do
if they dont and you have one shipped from the states do make sure it works in the UK or that'll be a waste of moohlahhh

i have att and they dont have any phones that flip up like verizons enV series but i have the lg neon by att and i love it.They used to make a phone called the at&t quickfire it was exactly like the sidekick but if you put the charger in the wrong way it catches on fire.

There are no phones truly like a sidekick, but if you want a full-featured smart phone with camera, texting, AIM, full internet and over 20,000 downloadable applications, check out the Motorola ( NYSE: MOT ) Droid, or the Droid Eris from Verizon. Both are very nice phones, and have a LOT more capabilities than the sidekick.

I also think both are bad phones. I have heard bad things about the Blackjack. Personally, as a Sidekick 3, Sidekick Slide owner... the phones are nice but the service is horrible!!! The internet is slow, you are going to face a lot of times where you dont have web access and paying $40 a month for it on T-Mobile ( NYSE: DT ) is too much.
