atarax tends to be the medication of choice for ICer's with allergies. It helps with the mast cells. You might want to ask your doctor about it. I take 10 mgs at bedtime, and it makes you very sleepy. Some on these boards take it around 7-8 pm because of the drowsiness. It can take some time to get used to the grogginess the next morning. Hi all, for me Vesicare just made it harder to go. I still had the urgency which seems to work against my small bladder. It may be very beneficial to some, but not me.

Hi all, Well I have been on Eavil for about two months and saw my doc today and am going to give hydroxyzine a whirl. Just wondering if anyone has experienced weight gain on hydroxyzine like those on Eavil have? I have been really anxious since being on Eavil so thought I'd give something else a try, thanks!

I was just prescribed with Hydroxyzine 50mg It has done wonderful regarding the lack of constant pain I had before. After just a few days, I have almost eliminated my pain pills (only had one half yesterday and none today). This is WONDERFUL! Only things is, I feel like a zombie. It always feels like 3am. Hydroxyzine or Elavil? Which would you try first? Has anyone experienced severe nasal congestion after starting hydroxyzine? Ever since I started that, Elmiron and Elavil I am terribly congested. I saw that a potential side effect of hydroxyzine is throat and nasal dryness. I am wondering if this is the source of my congetion.
