It's only toxic if you don't filter it.  Flammability is also a good reason to withhold sales to younger kids.  Underage drinking is one thing but burnt alive at 10, that's a serious issue.

Take a look at a bikes kickstand for insperaition.  A spring and some tension applied in a simular manner is what your looking for.  A good place to start since your in the planning stage.

Are you talking about a precision rifle bipod? I know how to make one that slides into the hand rail to support your rifle on the ground between relays.  That's all I know about anything. And I have made many haha. If not I hope you can find what you're looking for (:

Or take the bike with a lock, bring it home, and use a hacksaw on it.

Old? He only did it today! Sure, the wing is an old story, but this looks to be an improved model (the wings are longer, strapped in a different position, and they (and his suit) used to be red. The point is, he has recreated the challenge that must be met by every new flight technology - crossing the Channel.

Wow, I had no idea they went that far back. I love my swiss army knife for its fine craftsmanship and ease of use. Plus you can open wine with it! Gotta love the Swiss!

Well it looks like buying them is expensive, so I would start collecting bike tire tubes and learn how to weave. Weave whatever dimensions of the tread you need, and embed something for traction. Maybe something like lengths of conduit?
