And thats precisely what I mean by personal preference.. What is my expected level of courtesy vis-a-vis yours? And I dont understand how can someone be NOT courteous if you're nice to them, Its just give and take despite of the fact that you're paying them money.

Hi Taking my would-be parents in law for a holiday to Simla. I know its been done to the death, Simla ie, but they have never been there and are keen to visit. Any suggestions for cottages IN simla?? I know there are plenty many AROUND simla but am looking for one specifically within the town. Any advise please. Thanks OS P.S. - I know about Potters Hill but that again...

There is lot to see and do in Dharamsala valley. Above Norbulingka there is Sidhbari and Khaniarya Village which are lovely to see the village life and schools. Kangra fort , Indrunag Temple , Bir Monastery , Tashi Jong , Chauntra Monastery , Kangra Town temple, Masrur Temple (Old Rock Temple) near Kangra Town , Kangra Art Museum in Dharamsala Town , DGL Nunnery... lot to see ...

well this depends on the choice of yours,,,i would suggests that first you check where in HP you would like to go since couples mostly opt for Manali, Shimla in general......but then it would depend on kind of comfort or the location you ae looking for as there are others destinations worth going which would include chamba etc....

Completed successfully Bhrigu lake trek..... It was a one of the steepest climb to climb up from Vashist as others were decending the trail we were the only ones to climb it up .....but it was cool.....we did this in 2 days....we took Vashist as starting point of the trek.... Volvo , Deluxe Buses from ISBT Delhi are best to reach Dharamsala. Timings 8 pm for Volvo Bus reaches 8 am in Dharamsala 8:30 for Deluxe Bus reaches 8:30 am in Dharamsala 12 hours journey, its a safe journey by bus. By Train it would be more hectic because with Train Travel you have to do 4 hours of Bus/Taxi travel from Pathankot to dharamsala.
