well both the beaches were great.. just make sure you don't stay anywhere near the beaches but a bit away from there along the coast,. goes for both the places. if u are a food freak and want to live somewhere near a party crowd i'd suggest you head up to anjuna cause you'd have a lot of other options nearby like calangute or baga, otherwise arambol is a place to relax.. takes around 20 to 30 minutes on a bike to cover the...

BIGGEST pharmacy concern in Mapusa is UNION pharmacy, opposite the taxi stand. Try there, should be certified for sure.

I can only suggest that you should come again to Goa on a short term basis say 3 weeks and find out the answers to your questions yourself. That will be the best experience and you can further decide or make up your mind from there.

I'm planning a trip to india for a couple of months. I'll be arriving on the 30th this month to Mumbai. I've been looking at transport to GOA and the bus seems my best option. Trains are all packed to the brim.
Could someone point me in the right direction as to the best place to book a ticket from? Also, what should the bus' pickup point be in Mumbai. I don't know mumbai and not ...

Hi, we are currently living in Bali and thinking of moving to Goa. What I wanted to know are the options for private internet access there. Are DSL or 3G internet possible? Or only dialup?
Here in Bali we use 3G internet, which is offered by most mobile providers. Can I simply by a SIM card in Goa and use it as well?

hey joesph.
i saw surfing boards for rent at arambol. Right when you are about to reach the beach, just before the blue sea view (view or ocean???) restaurant, you can get them for rent for like 50 rupees an hour.
that was the price when i was there 2 weeks back.
arambol is not an idyllic place for surfing because i dont think the waves are big enough. but its worth a try.

Hi,
The best bet for you would be Tata Indicom, starts at just 425 Rupees(475 with tax) and gives you 512 MB download(approximately 60 hours). Charges above the 512 MB download limit are quite expensive. Airtel GPRS even with EDGE will be tooooo slow.
