These health things that I must test for are going to be the death of ME. Karma has her CERF on the 3rd of October *biting nails* figured we will start with the cheapest of the tests and work our way to the expensive ones. Would be horrible if she came back OFA good or excellent but had a fail on her eyes afterwards. No real reason for this thread, keep your fingers crossed for Karma ( guess...

Can anyone recommend a good shampoo for sensitive skin? Mocha has been insanely itchy the last couple of times after the groomer. They said it could be the shampoo, or the little bits of hair left from the hair cut. They said that they blew him off a little extra this last time, but he is still so itchy - I'm sure it's the shampoo. I want to buy some and take it to the groomer for the next ...

Okay, since Melinda mentioned grazing in the Blue Buffalo thread, and we don't want to hijack, do your dogs graze? My lab Halo grazes on grass all the time. When we're walking she's always grabbing a mouthful as we go. She just likes it. Shadow on the other hand will only eat grass if she's got an upset stomach from not eating or from nerves (she's very high strung you know). Does your dog ...

OK, My Westie Theodore has SEVERE allergies, and he is allergic to almost all dry kibble food. We changed his diet in accordance with his allergies, and are feeding him Primal Pet Food Venison. He likes it, but I have just discovered another food, a supplement actually made by The Honest Kitchen. With this one I would have to buy my own meat and mix it in with the supplement. Money is not issue,...

Has anybody heard of or had experience in Beagle Pain Syndrom? We have a 2 yo female Beagle mix who is showing signs of BPS but has not yet been diagnosed. For 1 1/2 years now we have been fighting the same symptoms BPS. Until the other day, I had never heard of it and because it's not super common, most vets have not either. I printed out some information and dropped it off at the vets ...

My 5 year old mix Jack Russell started hacking a few days ago. At first, just a few times during the day and he cough out clear secretions. But last night, he was up in the middle of the night hacking for a period of time. I did use Lysol to clean his accident few days earlier. He seems fine with good appitide. But his random hacking made me worried. He looks perfectly fine after hacking. He can...

I found this thread this morning as I was researching Omega-3's. http://iheartpaws.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7991 Do I understand correctly that it is useless without vitamin e? If I give him a capsule today (I have 1000 mg omega-3 made from sardine, anchovies, and salmon) without the vitamin e is it useless? thanks!
