Welcome aboard! Yeah, this is the place for BMW riders... you'll find LOTS of information for all you need to know about your K12RS. The Clymer manual is very good and is indispensable if you like working and doing your own maintenance.
Had an '02 K12RS myself and really enjoyed it. How about a picture of your new steed?

Well, as of last Friday, Grifscoots Texas "Land Shark" is now in my care here in Florida. Thanks, Grif, for being such a good steward of her and giving her to me in such good shape. Have only ridden her a bit, but am looking forward to lots of happy, fun miles and meeting and making many great riding friends.
Merry Christmas to all and best wishes for a Happy and safe New Year!

In an attempt to 'rid myself of the reminder' here goes:
Shopping for a suitable 2up sport touring mount, figured best source of info would be the folks who ride them! Have my heart sold on the K1300S (and even convinced my better half) but dollars might force me onto a K12 instead. Feel free to offer up Pro's\Con's either way, I'm sure I'd be happy with either but with more budget left over I ...

One of witch was a set of Supertrapp XR stainless pipes for my ex 95 sportster (the horror, the horror) but getting back to the real world I looked up HD forums thinking maybe I could sell them. Then the insanity started,it's suprising how closely thier web ...
