I'm getting my exhaust and dp in the next few days and wanted to get some drive up ramps to do the work with. Anyone have a recommendation for one that 'works' with our cars? Do you have to back up onto them, or drive up forwards, or does it matter? Any other helpful tips / info appreciated.

Re: 2010 Subaru Impreza STI Special Edition As I said on Nazi-oc... This model is just dumb, I'm sorry. So the crappy stereo gets even worse? and whatever small creature comforts this $35K+ car came with are gone as well? unbelievable... As others have said, serious guys upgrade the suspension on their own. I've done that, and I have a DAMD steering wheel going in the car too. For daily driving for now, the stock seats are fine, but...

not really high mileage, but ~20k in less than a year, stage 2 since 5k miles, and I'm more than happy with the car ( knock on wood)
i bought the car knowing the pistons can let go with mods, or even stock sometimes, but even with that, i made the decision to pick one up, and i'm happy i did
the car is not babied by any means, but it's not abused either, i did a proper brake in, and i let ...

The Grimmspeed boost solenoid may not really be much better than the stock 08 STi unit. At least from what I've read around here. I believe Braden from XPT did some testing with it. http://www.iwsti.com/forums/ecu-tuni...port-ebcs.h tml

Keep that Gorgeous 335 and don't look back. unless there is a financial strain from owning the 335, keep it keep it keep it. i have glorified previously owned cars, bought another one, and realized they weren't as good as ...

I personally use s#, DCCD all the way down, and traction control off. (great for donuts too)
If you don't wanna have fun try "I" DCCD at lock and traction control on (deep)
Shallower snow, DCCD in auto should be fine. Staying in "I" should keep the traction control off moreso than "S" or "S#".
Play around in an empty lot, and you'll find a combination of settings that suit your driving ...

In looking through the forums it's a little scary to see so many people having serious engine issues with their STI's. Has Subaru fixed the issue(s) in the '09 and '10 cars? Or are they just as prone to blowing up?
It looks like they haven't changed the specs on the STI at all for '10, I would've thought a power bump would've happened since the WRX makes 265hp now. Are substantial changes...
