I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised. He spent a lot of
time in England during the 1950s and had a relationship with an actress named Thelma Ruby. He also lived in England and later Hollywood with the Swedish actress Mai Zetterling and broke up with her for his third wife, Debbie.
