I noticed his bad eye in "Uncorked". There was a scene where his eyes were closed and he tried to open them and that
one eye opened much slower and was distinctly odd. However, it was noticeable although not a big deal.

There's a superficial resemblance. But
Rufus Sewell is impossibly good looking and has one of the most marvellous voices ever (when speaking with his own accent). Ian McShane might almost be his slightly less talented uncle, however.

Thank you, that's great news!
Eleventh Hour was such a boring waste of RS's talent.
Pillars of the Earth? I must have read that book about 10 times, I love
historical fiction. The other cast members are excellently chosen too.
Looking forward to this

This is my first posting on this board, because I hadn't seen anything of Rufus
Sewell's work other than the very first time I saw him in A Knight's Tale.
Admittedly I watched that movie because of Heath Ledger, but I came away very impressed with Rufus, but I didn't really get into checking out his other works and then forgot about it because I was more interested in Heath's work at the time...

Oh, and is is just me, or did anyone else find him extremely fetching, cuddly, *censored* whatever as he reclined on the couch?
No it's not just you. I love when he tells her to come and sit on him. That was my thought exactly.
Shirley and
Rufus create magic together I do hope they work together again.
I kissed a frog, he was neither princely or charming.....Bobbitt

WOW! Thank you,
liberty-belle, for posting the link to the Neruda poem! I LOVE Rufus -- how did I ever miss this?!
I am with you on Rufus recording a poetry CD! His voice is so alluring -- simply breathtaking.

Somewhere on this board is a link to an interview he gave not too long ago where he talks about the roles he's offered. I think it's an interview where he talks about "Downloading Nancy." He does show some dismay at being cast as the "heavy" quite often. Also that not many good roles come his way and the ones that seem to show promise, fizzle. He refers to his role in
11th Hour for example--he...
