I never said strictly drama, but First Blood was mostly drama. Well every film has drama. Doesn't make it a drama. First blood is considered an action film. Wall-E had drama. Doesn't make it a drama.

You are wrong. You even admitted it had minimal. Not sure how I'm being hostile. I just don't like kids trolling in threads. Critics, fans, the actors, etc., all commented how it's not a usual CGI-filled action movie, which my original post states. You're the only one who seems to be hostile. Keep with the insults, it's very entertaining.

Both of you need to go watch the movie again. I would love to. Lower budget cgi or not, this was the most entertaining movie I've seen in a long time. Most of the blood squirts were CGI and bad CGI at that. Well, seeing as how they weren't operating with the budget of one of those afformentioned Michael Bay crapfests, I wasn't expecting the cgi to be breath taking. But it wasn't so bad, that it made me not enjoy the film....

I like Stallone's writing and directing so much I'd be happy to see a Rambo 5 without any action at all. Show him reconnecting (if he can) with his family and life in the states.

It seemed to me that coloring was off a lot in the end, trying to establish some-sort of documentary feel to it also. I they did an excellent job on the blood squibs though.

Terrible Movie!!!!!!!!!

It's half-amateurish film already, so it's not too hard to re-create and even make fun of. Hot Shots II tried this, but came out as a cheaper copy of the trilogy, with this one it won't have a problem. It will be even better.lol.

Does anyone know the name of the track that plays when Rambo stabs the general in the gut at the end of the film. It's a variation on the main theme but it kicks ass. Is it on the soundtrack and if so, whats its name?

Ok, Rambo's point about violence being necessary sometimes and that nothing ever changes was basically proven at the end of this movie, especially when the pacifist bashes the soldiers head in with a rock, and yet he takes the advice of the missionary and visits his dad to see how things changed. Did I miss something? Doesn't that seem a little contradictory? I'm not hating on it. It's a great ...

Best part of the film. It's truly breath taking. "I'm not interested in Saturn, I said Mars."

Honestly, I see so many people that enjoyed a movie which I thought was just terrible. But that's okay. to each his own. What's not okay are some of these Rambo love fests on the message boards by what I believe to be kids (UNDER 21), which send a misleading message about the movie to the more mature audience (more than just a number). So, in an effort to represent those who were ...

Warning: in this thread i will explain why I disliked Rambo. If you only read this thread to call me an idiot, because YOU liked this movie please stop reading now. I have no problem with violent movies as long as the violence has a meaning for the movie or the motivation for it is explained or if its a good action movie. Not if the violence IS the freaking movie. Stallone sais that he...

Alright, Stallone has announced he wants to do another. I'm all for it. This whole saga has always been about coming "full circle", and what better way for this all to wrap up then keeping things stateside this time around? I can't help but feel the closing shot in Rambo IV was just the beginning of a more personal story to be told about John Rambo's life as he reunites with his father and tries ...

I think it would be an appropriate and satisfying ending to the series if we see Rambo at Vietnam Wall looking at all of the names on it. Then a young group of teenagers walking towards him and giving him flowers saying thank you for his service. he hesitates, because he hasn't always been to happy with American people, but then forgives his country and thanks the teenagers for caring. What...

I loved this new Rambo a lot because it gave us soemthing we haven't seen in a long time. It recalled the good old days of 80s action movies. Do audiences really enjoy CGI-filled crapfests better than realistic slaughters like Rambo?

It would be more successful than Rambo IV if Rambo goes Afghanistan and fights Terrorists.

I mean this movie was great, but it seems the only thing a lot of people want to focus on is Sly's age. Would you care if he was black, or gay, or non-christian? Who cares if he's in his sixties?!
