But some people are quirky or play quirky really well. She just leaves me feeling disappointed in everything I see her in. She must have crazy connections. She's not a remarkable actress, not really much of a musician. This will sound cold, but she also isn't especially beautiful compared to most other women in the entertainment industry. She must know some really influential people.

If I'm not mistaken entirely, wasn't Cruise offered Dillon's part in Rumble Fish but he opted out to do Risky Business instead? I thought Dillon was terrible in Rumble Fish, I like him usually but he was so off key it hurt the film since he had so much screentime. I've often wondered about it. I love the film, but still, Cruise and Rourke together, polar opposites, it would have been something.

He says "Torpedoooo!" in one scene. But he's almost in every scene with Aykroyd. ------------------------ dance godammit

I thought Matt Dillon was perfect in Rumble Fish . Don't know about Cruise in that role though. My first thought is, no way. But back then he was in The Outsiders and it worked, so maybe. But Dillon - I think he was always good in that type of role. Reaction time is a factor in this, so please pay attention.

He seems to have a new found liking for Daniel Day Lewis, as he said he thinks DDL is the best actor around right now and he has seen There Will be Blood about 7 times but still hasn't seen the ending. He is friends with Clive Owen, Adrian Brody, Chris Walken(who even intervewed Mickey), Johnny Depp(who also interviewed Mickey, Brad Pitt(who cited Mickey as a huge influence), Stallone, Val Kilmer...

i think you're crossing wires here, the only time he punched someone out like that was Jeff Kober for touching up Otis at a gym in LA-it didnt cost him any particular role just added to his bad rep-circa 1996 i dont think any major producer was willing to touch him with a barge pole

Marv isn't in the other Sin City stories. If he's in any future Sin City movies it would be in flashback. I don't think Mickey's really interested in a Sin City 2 or 3 though.

He was luckier than you and most consumers will ever know.
The entertainment business has almost completely swallowed up all opportunity for the working class that intend to attempt to fight their way into this business.

I don't recall ever complaining about them closing the rourke round table, i couldn't care less about that. I was bagging them out for their lack of class and intelligence, and their foul mouths(very ladylike, they put Mickey to shame). Funny how they had to say "OF COURSE WE HAD KNOWN ABOUT THIS FOR QUITE SOME time(the ice man), but only got confirmation an hour ago" hahah, they are on top of ...

So all the ladies on the board still have a chance (depending on age and weight and country of origin, of course)!
