Well, I guess professional critics have the responsibility of studying each movie they see carefully - if for nothing else, but to avoid looking ridiculous among their peers. Still, I'd say even they need only two views to make up their mind about a film. To us imdb posters that matters none. Your question about the books, to read a book twice or more would require me liking the book the first time enough to want to revisit it, and maybe...

Yep, the cooking scene is one of the most Bond-ish moments in AVTAK. The problem is that the scene comes across more like a man cooking his granddaughter breakfast than it does a man cooking for his lover.

yeah FRWL is my favorite Bond Film, still in the process of reading it though.
i thought Casino Royale was pretty damn close to the book though.
i mean aside from a few minor things like the eyepatch and the Bentley.

In TMWTGG when Bond violently threatens to break Anderx92;s arm, and then calmly pours himself a glass of champagne as if the incident never occurred. For me that represents the two sides of Bond's personality.
