Well define generation. Give me an age range. She's my favorite actress, but whether she's actually the best is so subjective. I don't care for Keener but I think Frances McDormand, Isabelle Adjani, Isabelle Huppert, Toni Collette, Kathy Bates, Juliette Binoche, and Miranda Richardson are all amazing to name a few. There are so many talented actresses who just aren't as famous. If you mean most talented a-list actress of...

Frances maybe.....but again those women you mentioned aren't leading ladies.....so they're not really in the same league as Jodie. Yeah, I meant the most talented a-list actress of her generation.

These ladies are actually older, but they're right there with Foster as far as talent: Meryl Streep, Sigourney Weaver, Catherine Keener, Kathy Bates, Laura Linney and Tilda Swinton. I'll try to think of a few more. These eggs have yellow eyes. But if I turn them, the yellow is gone.

Yeah I like her attitude a whole lot. Shes not "up herself" or thinks she better than anyone. Just normal and down to earth. Never bags out anyone, you never hear any Diva Dramas about her. She just does a job that she thinks is worthwhile, and gets on with it. I'll search every day for a glimpse of that fortunate smile...

I find it hard to believe that Jodie would have ever accepted the role of a happy hooker. In every instance in which she played a sex object, her character was never very happy about it. There, daddy, do I get a gold star?

Well roles go around the same age group all the time. She did turn down those films. She had just purposely taken time off to go to college. She wasn't a big draw but none of those kids from the Brat Pack were names before those films anyway. They just wanted young actors who could fill those roles.
And she wouldn't have jumped at the chance to do those parts. She actually avoided them. She ...

I think there is a lot of truth to that. Especially since she gave what is arguably one of the top 3 performances of her life. And could we imagine someone other than Sly playing the sequels to Rocky or First Blood? Can someone other than Daniel Radcliffe play Potter? And so on.
On the other hand, the Hannibal script was awful. So we'll never really know. Had the script been as good as SoTL, ...

Well I hope she is. But IF she is, I hope she shows her womanness and doesn't look dyked up like she did for most of the first film.
Are they really making a sequel? The movie came out in 2006, do that many people remember it?
