So you have not "found" a deleted scene. What you have done it point out a scene was edited out...that is not finding. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he is God.

Is it because she's white? Anton Chigurh is dead and Spider-Man 3 is superior in every way to Funny Games. This seems to be the simplest reason. And yes, Spider-Man 3 was 14 times more terrifying than Funny Games could ever be! http://stuffblackpeopledig.wordpress.com/

Nope, you're absolutely right, and I'll tell you why: Indy has no help this time around. In the other films there are oodles of people supporting Indy. In this one, all he's got are a little kid (who IS helpful, don't get me wrong) and a whiny broad from Missouri. This movie is all about how friggin awesome Indy is, all by himself, and it contains the single coolest image from any Indy movie. That shot tracking up Indy as...

Temple of Doom is my fave action flick of all time. I could watch this 3 times in a row, and I def cant say the same for Raiders, Crusade, or Crystal Skull. The quad-ology is awesome but IJaTOD rocks supreme to me cuz it is straight up action that doesnt take a break. The other films have dialogue-heavy breaks in the action, numerous characters, and many locations. Temple of Doom keeps the characters to a minimum and once the plot really takes...

Back in the '80s, there was usually a six month gap (sometimes longer) between theatrical release and VHS home video release, unlike today where it's usually only a few weeks between theatrical and DVD/Blu-ray release. As a kid, this was my favorite movie of all time, and I eagerly awaited its release on home video. Unfortunately, that wait lasted about two years until it finally came out on video in 1986... and in case you forgot,...

Really clumsy cut
Published (2009-11-15 06:10:00)
When Pat Roach (Chief Guard) comes marching in after Indy realease the kids from their chains, it cuts to Indy scrabling round for a sledge hammer. This scene seems really clunky as though something was cut.

Raiders- 10/10: Everything works very well. Best artifact, romance, and the most iconic action scenes. Crusade- 8/10: Weak artifact, but great characterizations. Action scenes aren't as good, but still entertaining. Temple- 7/10: Fantastic action scenes, but another weak artifact and bad sidekicks. Great bad guy though. Skull- 6/10: Starts out well. Labouef is an amusing sidekick. The movie falls apart in the second half. Nothing is...

We must have different memories.
I recall films having a much longer run at the cinema than they do now (less films being shown too). And they did take much longer to come to VHS too.
I recall waiting over a year for a film to come to VHS after a cinema release.
But I do know there was some problem with the home release of ToD as this was one of the films that brough up the PG-13 rating ...

1. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade- 10/10. I think this is the most fun and entertaining adventure film ever made. From the fantastic action sequences (the tank chase is one of my all-time favorites) to the witty dialogue and the awesome chemistry between Ford and Connery, this is the pinnacle of summer blockbusters for me.
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark- 9.5/10. The original classic, with ...

No, it's because he wanted Indy to prove his loyalty to the Thuggee, just to make sure the drug had worked. So he gave Indy a chance to save his new girlfriend, but he didn't.
I'm sure he would have done the heart thing, but Shorty showed up just in time.

The deleted scene depicts Shorty burning the guard with fire. This makes the guard wake from the black sleep of Kali. This is how Shorty learns that fire will make Indy wake up.
This deleted scene has been known about for decades. You discovered nothing.

Like you said, there was no PG-13 rating. So they had to give it PG.

I read the Trivia section and noticed the other two Wilhelm Screams, and the one I mentioned. Why isn't the Temple of Doom on the Wilhelm list?

I did it this past Halloween night. It was fun at first, I forcefully took advantage of a few young ladies, but after a few hours the come down started to make me feel pretty bad. Thankfully my little Asian friend hit me with a Tiki torch.
