No, mental, no to everything you said. You obviously know something about DVDs but nothing about computers or maths. I'm looking at my 1900 X 1200 monitor right now, which is the norm today. They cost about $300 retail. 30" monitors @ 2560 X 1600 are becoming common. Work out those numbers. I have never heard of 1440 X 900 resolution on a computer in my 20 years as an IT professional. 500 line format has nothing to do with DVD...

I'm spending the day with my kids and hopefully doing as little as possible. I wanted to mix things up and make a non-traditional meal, but the kids all voted for the turkey and the usual accompaniments. What are you up to on this holiday? Built for comfort, not for speed.
