I think the movie and MW received mostly good reviews, even a bit of Oscar buzz. What do you think, does Michelle stand a chance getting nominated this year?

What are some of your favorite hairstyles in cinema history? I think the best were the luscious long waves of Rita Hayworth and Veronica Lake. As well as the deep red long locks of Kate Winslet in Titanic and Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge (I think dark red hair is gorgeous). Then the fashionable bobs like Louise Brooks. What are your favorites? Men in film count too. "zing zing zing went my ...

A Chunky/AFI inspired poll... http://i36.tinypic.com/t5ghhv.jpg RULES For the 12 selected genres, compile a list of what you consider to be the 12 greatest films corresponding to each (all sequels, trilogies etc. are classed as seperate films). It doesn't matter if one of your chosen films falls into more than one genre, for example if you choose Annie Hall because you ...

I will do this for every year. Add two films from 2007 for now, when we get thirty 2007 films in the list, we will add a point to five, and subtract to five. BUT first we need to add them. This is the official way to figure out what was the best film of 07. If it is successful, I will start games for the other years. They will all have 10 points LIST 1. There Will Be Blood 2. Atonement 3. ...

Ok, for those who want here's a link to previous results (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007): http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2335093/board/threads/ The rules are simple: vote for whichever one of the two films given you think is best. The film that gets the most votes gets one step closer to being the best movie of 2002! We have the top sixteen nominees out of the 71 that were submitted, so lets ...

http://i38.tinypic.com/2uo0wa0.jpg Done with the help of the very precise MS Excel! Lets get this started! Here are your choices for the 50 best films from 1997-2008! But before we begin, heres my special tribute to modern movies! And so the presentation begins. All during September, Oscar Buzzers voted on their Bottom Twenty Five. This is the presentation of that list. Each movie will have a summary, weird fact and a video clip. Enjoy the list and thanks for being here Lovely, Oh God, if I agree, what horrors wait for me in this, the Phantom's opera?

I originally wanted Ron Paul, but the he dropped out. Both McCain and Obama suck. When Ron was in the race, I wanted the best candidate. Now I want the one that will suck the least. That thing is probably a raw sewage container, go ahead and rub it all over your face.

Stupid thread idea probably, but work with me. What are some movies that every time you think about them, you hate them more? Whether it be a poorly executed sequel that harms the reputation of the great original or just a crappy movie that everybody else loves. Movies that, for a lack of a better word, piss you off. My list includes: -All sequels to Rocky and the original Halloween. ...
