Not to be mean but are you new to these parts? It's common for some "voters" to rate using ONLY a 1 or a 10. Some people can't be bothered with actually thinking about the movie and giving it a truly critical rating. If they liked it: 10 If not: 1 Lame "It's supposed to be hard... Anyone who watched Wall-E for more than 30 minutes is attempting to earn some sort of "I've seen and loved every Pixar Movie" t-shirt. Apparently, they are also required to write a positive review of every Pixar Movie and reply to every message which challenges Pixar's honor, even if it's simply in the form of an ad hominem attack.

WallxB7;E is not only one of the best animated films of all time; it is also an excellent science fiction film, and an amazing love story. Actually, WallxB7;E is probably just one of the best movies ever made.

I can see your comments, but I think Pixar was trying to go in a different direction from the traditional animation that you mentioned. I appreciated that. I enjoyed the lack of dialogue at the beginning. I also appreciated the lack of human-like faces for the robots. It's like the old silent movies - the viewer has to use his/her own thoughts on the characters' feelings without the spoken ...
