Hancock 2

Hancock was only an average flick but it made money, so a sequel is almost a given. What I liked from this film is the fact that "Hancock" is basically an anti-superhero. Something different from your typical superhero flick. What I didn't like were the weak villains, or better said, the lack of true villains. Any superhero movie (even a movie like Hancock), is as good as their villains are. Think about Superma/Lex...

Bizarre movie ... oh, and Ray...

Totally good points. There were more plotholes in this movie than in Hancock's shades after getting blasted by the bank robbers. The only explanation I have for Ray's self confidence is that, of all the mortal (and immortal) men in the world, she picked him to settle down with and get married. That's a total confidence booster. He must be packing some heat of his own, knowwaddiymsayin, yeaaaah!

Thanks. That's a shame though, it certainly would have made an interesting secondary plot...

In response to Nekromantiko. I always saw Hancock himself as being the primary villain in the movie, not the guy with he hook. The guy with the hook and his gang were just the "they" that Mary says keeps coming for them. They never really explain who "they" are, but I just saw them as people from whichever particular time period who thought it was best for mankind to eradicate the beings like Hancock and...

Why are all superheroes american?
Published (2009-11-17 15:45:00)
Because that's where most of the publishers are, and it's easier for the writers and artists to relate to characters and locales in New York. The comic book itself is a uniquely American invention.

Did you watch the movie retard? Why would Aaron inherit any abilities when he's not any off their offspring. Loser!

'Hancock', just like...
Published (2009-11-23 10:41:00)
"hancock" was a great movie for the first 45 minutes, then it turned too Hollywoodish and just got silly and confusing. I have to agree. I thought the street bum super hero premise pretty interesting, as well as the fact that they were actually looking at the kind of collateral damage such a person could do, but for some reason they abandoned that and went into that whole silly Mary relationship and a backstory that made no...

When Hancock goes to the liquor store and foil the robbery, there's a news bulletin on the TV behind the store owner mentioning that 'Red' And a few other inmates have escaped.
So, yeah, you kind of missed that.
