^I'm not complaining because "he is me" (which he isn't, for the record, since I'm female and can actually see my feet); I'm complaining because he got too much screentime and that pregnancy pants gag basically set the tone for the season that followed it. The pregnancy pants gag was not funny - at least not to me - and from what I have seen, Reverend Lovejoy's "money shot" scene...

I would say that its more likely that The Simpsons got the idea from Stephen King. The book actually sounds like a good read

I didn't laugh out loud once. I can't beleive more people weren't dissapointed by this film. I geuss the whole thing was unsalvagable from the very beginning. They should have re-assembled the original writing team, at any rate it was just lame. Here's hoping Arrested development doesn't come out the same.

IIRC, FX has the cable-air rights that actually came into effect this month. So, technically, FX can air the movie right now. Sure, FOX will probably air it first. I'm guessing sometime next summer since FX and FOX is obviously not airing it this Thanksgiving. Unless they air it on Christmas Day, summer is the next mark for an airing. Maybe they can use a sweeps spot this spring, but I doubt it...

What the ....?? I cant say I have seen people so offended and hurt by a minor gag in a movie;. Spider Pig? Okay, so you watch a bunch of TV and you saw the T.V spot a lot, and when you go to see the movie the gag doesn't work for you. That doesn't make it a bad joke. It might be called: The Simpsons Movie Too (2011) don't get me wrong this movie was fantastic but the next one might be made on $50 million and make just $80 million worldwide but as long as the story is amazing like this one then i'm in.

Matt Greoning wants to make a sequel, but he wants them to take their time so it can be a good one.

Yeah it was just as uninspired as the new seasons. I think it was a hit because of the cinemas... if everyone else are laughing then stuff can seem funnier. Cant imagine anyone watching this on dvd and constantly LOLing like with the old episodes.

Well, the show's been spurting Epic Movie style humour since 2002, and i wanted to avoid this, but i wasted my xA3;7 on it thanks to some dumb who claim to get value for money out of these kind of movies. It wasn't just Spider-Pig (although that's at the top of the list), but even early on in the movie, it resorted to infantile homophobic jokes that made me die inside when I see what desperate ...
