You have absolutely no right to be refunded your money just because you didn't like the film. That would be like going to a sporting event and demanding a refund because your favorite team lost.

No - it's more like not liking a first couple of bites or sips in a restaurant. Your analogy is preposterous. Plus - I was offered it and accepted. drfy.com dezombification.com

Really - aren't we allowed to return the product for a refund? If you open up, say, the box that contains the vacuum cleaner you just purchased, and you find that the vacuum cleaner is, say, broken in two, then yeah. You're entitled to a refund. Or if it doesn't work when you plug it in and turn it on, then yeah. You're entitled to a refund. But if you open it up, take a look at it, try it out, and decide that you just...

Kids film?

Too many overprotective parents, and precocious young adults who are worried about kids dorking up their street cred. Fantastic Mr. Fox is suitable for preschoolers and up. Whether or not they will enjoy it is a matter of taste. On the other hand, if you want to have a discussion about growing old, losing the love of your life, and depression, Pixar can gloss over that in an opening montage. But hey, who's going to say anything, because,...

docudrama67, this is at least the third thread I have seen you comment on for this movie and you have only had terrible things to say about George Clooney (and occasionally you talk about the rest of the movie, too). What's the deal? "And like that, poof. He's gone..."

It's not a box office hit despite very positive reviews and A List voice overs probably because everyone assumed a Wes Anderson kid's movie can't REALLY be a kid's movie. But this is actually MORE of a true kid's movie than Where The Wild Things Are or even WALL-E and Up. Those movies were all somewhat weighed down by heavy themes that are beyond most kid's concern and interest. Mr. Fox is not. This has a...

How can you ask for money back at a theater and be proud of it? Be disappointed, sure, but asking for a refund after watching half of piece of creative work, that's pure douchebaggery.
Don't get all pissy when your theater shows nothing but Hannah Montana and Twilight sequels. It's moves like yours that makes theater owners shy away from brave and groundbreaking films.

im sure when you were young you watched films and didn't read the book.
And 9 times out of 10 after seeing a film most people want to go out and read the book!!! ALSO if they are young its up to the parents to sit them down and make them read.

Yeah. I thought the wolf part was pretty nice. It was funny when they did the fist in the air thing.

Probably not, seeing as the movie wasn't exactly a success.
But who knows?

I loved the WhackBat game scene, but I think my favorite was the scene where they spotted the wolf in the distance.

And you call yourselves Wes Anderson fans.
Come on, don't tell me you guys weren't paying attention.
What I don't understand is how we're going to stay alive this winter.

Totally agree. "Where the Wild Things Are" was partially ruined for me cause I kept thinking "that's Tony Soprano talking!"

I think this is a good point about the movie's commercial failure. Frankly, Fantastic Mr. Fox should have been marketed much more as a kid's movie, instead of being treated as animated fare for adults by focusing so much on the headlining actors providing voice work for the film. Had it been presented as something appropriate for kids (which it is), it could easily have pulled in a bigger ...

Well how pathetic is this thread. Seriously, you think anybody will find this witty and clever? I've seen dozens of posts like this for this movie, and other similar themed movies.
Get some new material and try, TRY to be even slightly original.

I wasn't sure what he was either after thinking about it. My best guess is that he is a white weasel.
This looks pretty close, although his character was a bit more "built".
