"Granted, that concentration is unlikely in a fairly roomy office feeding through a nozzle in a wall, but if the concentration is high enough to get the 'mickey mouse' voice then it's high enough to kill you." The Navy dive manual has tables for depths to 1600 feet, for which the prescribed mix is 95 percent helium. At that depth divers don't even _try_ to talk--they write notes. Below 60 feet (prescribed...

OK, from this time last year, true. Although the numbers look on par with the end of their season last year. I guess the obvious question is: what if Mother was in the 9:30 slot this year and BBT anchored? I wonder what would have happened? Im under the assumption that Kripke isnt an engineer, mainly because he seems to focus on leonard and sheldon, (just seems like he would be in the same field as them) also i dont think an engineer would show the head of faculty around a lab that looked very similar to leonards. (i think that Kripke is an experimental physicist like leonard) Yes my grammar may be bad but this is an internet discussions board not an English Exam.

Yeah, he did still have the insanely tight pants, but *for Howard*, it was more toned-down.

Mt Dew yes, Coffee no??

I guess it depends on what kind of coffee you drink. But I don't drink much soda more coffee than soda. But I have a special kind of coffee so I don't get too bitchy. (the person who said they have a 'temper' is right) lol And did you hear the reaction from the audience and even Sheldon, he knew it was a no no to drink that. I have no idea why they added that? Because it just barely beat a show for one of the first times that YOU JUST ADMITTED went up against a show that got 21m viewers? It's a good show, yes. Is it #1 comedy on tv? No. The ratings back me up. Your logic fails mightily.

I also like the John Lithgow's idea. "3rd rock from the Sun" is also one of the sitcoms I love besides TBBT. Were you the 50 lucky people? Sorry, it was not clear for me.

The only character on this show with a truley garish fashion sense is Howard but that it clearly intentional. If I were going to change anything about Leonard it would be the glasses. He would look so much better with thin framed lens then thick ones he wears.

Maybe, but that would kind of kill the main dynamic of his character. Howard is the not-so-much ladies man, Penny is the sweet-natured Midwestern girl, Leonard is kind of a meek wimp, and Sheldon is...well...Sheldon. Other than being Indian, Raj would lose his main character aspect.

The scene with Sheldon in the office is the type of scene they would pre-film so that the sound people can tweek with the audio and then show it to an audience and get their laughter and add it to the final sound mix.
There's no way they could fill the room with helium. It's far too dangerous for not only the actor but the audience as well. The sets aren't enclosed they are open faced sets ...

Yeah, but Holly Hunter and Laurie Metcalf look like sisters. There's no way anyone would buy Hunter as Metcalf's mom.

I LOVED that! Poor Shelly. Yeah, I guess Kripke is the typical bully who is jealous of Sheldon and insecure with himself. Or maybe he's just an ass.

True about Penny but she got money from her ex so maybe there is more than we knew. Dunno.

It was appropriately awkward and yet funny. One of those things this show does well.

Too late! Howard's clothes have already become a character on the show. I look forward to seeing what he will be wearing almost as much as to his appearance itself. Ix92;ve just come to associate his clothes (bright and/or tight and/or overdone) with him.
Some posters are calling for a x93;makeoverx94;. Now that he has found someone, it is something that could be used to explain the ...

I really, really enjoyed it. I'm also excited to see where Howard and Bernadette's relationship goes after this...it's about time he had a solid love interest!
Sheldon was as usual amazing! "You're a STUPID head! That's also a rhetorical question....sorry you had to hear that."
The "Yo, Raj, talk to me!" scene had me in hysterics. Great episode, can't wait until next week!

In the long run, I would agree with you because the Leonard/Penny storyline has been, is, and probably will continue to be the overall plot dynamic of the series.
Sheldon may be a central figure in many episodes, but the over- arching plot will probably be Sheldon/Penny.

Anybody find it strange that Sheldon was drinking Mt Dew (while he was mixing chemicals, which is a no-no), but yet he goes nuts on coffee?
In "The Work Song Nanocluster", Sheldon said he wouldn't drink Coffee because he promised his Mom that when he moved to California he wouldn't "do drugs". Sure enough, the coffee sends his brain into overdrive and he goes nuts. BAM!!! He references an...
