OK...so you're telling the original poster he spoiled his own post? Or are you telling me I shouldn't express an opinion that doesn't agree with the OP's...or yours? If you want people to agree with you all the time, I don't think the internet is the place for you. Allow me to explain: you can love something whilst still being aware of its flaws - that can be a loved one, a sports hero or a work of art such as a movie...

Much better. Not just for Rescue Me, but for TV shows in general. Rescue Me, however, is a good example. The beginning of Season 5 was brilliant, up there with the best stuff that the show had ever done. However, the show severely lacked in the middle part of the season. If it were up to me, all TV shows would be 13 episode seasons as opposed to 22.

Skipping the ignorance in which I would love to bring out outta me to such a comment such as yours, lemme just stop to ask how, in any kind of way whatsoever does Rescue Me have flaws? And could you kindly elaborate for that matter how ONE could actually love something and still find some kind of fault with it? Cause that is something new even I ain't never heard of. Who wants to send a message to Germany?!?

Great! I was the same way, I would have like 7 episode marathons lol. You're like me... you just can't end the night without watching "one more". I just finished season 5 and I loved every season and all the characters. It's my favorite show of all time. "I'll shove that bat up your ass and turn you into a popsicle."

The show is not so much homophobic in itself as much as it reflects the homophobia that exists in a lot of firehouses. It is simply being true to its source material. If you watch for a little while, you will realize that there isn't as much homophibia as it seems, but what is there is appropriate given the characters and their setting.
