And many are not. The Quantum Leap boards are fairly active for a show that originally ended in 93. Twin Peaks ended in 91 and again, fairly active considering the age of the series. Shows with depth can easily be discussed for years on end. Now on the other hand, look at shows like True Blood. While I do really enjoy the show, the boards are a joke. There's no real depth to the show, so there's no depth to the conversations that...

Terry O'Quinn is the best actor on the show and Locke is the best character (though not my personal favorite), definitely. But I have to say that the ending he seems to have gotten is pretty much perfect. As much as I would have loved to see Locke get his happy ending, I think that playing the resurrection card on him couldn't help but be dissatisfying.

Lost is a pretty good show, but it has way too many flaws to be the best ever. Sek-wit-oar sounds like some kind of Greek monster, like a Minotaur with the head of a platypus.

How can people believe that Locke is/was only important to be manipulated by MIB? That holds no weight whatsoever. Let's think about it: He only really needed Locke to die. That's it. He needed him to die so he could use the body/appearance to kill Jacob. It has nothing to do with him being easily manipulated, because he manipulated him, yes. But in the end he just needed him to die.

Finally the story will be linear. In my opinion, that's how it should more or less have been from the start. you think the story should have been linear? so you would have loved to watch a show about jack messing up surgeries and kate running from the law and hurley winning the lottery and sawyer coning people, and then like 2 seasons into the show there is suddenly a plane crash and the island stuff comes up?...

As Jack said to Richard during 'The Incident', "I wouldn't give up on him."
I'm positive they haven't completely abandoned the real Locke. He will come back and will eventually realise his fate as the island's true saviour.

The only Kate episodes I tend to dislike are Born to Run and I Do. I actually liked Eggtown, I don't understand everyone's hate for it.
And I like most Jack episodes, even Stranger in a Strange Land, to some extent. It just had some acting/casting problems. Most of the time, Jack episodes are spot on. White Rabbit, All The Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues, Do No Harm, Man of Science Man of ...

I thought it was exciting and amazing! I like it a hell of a lot. It's the best first episode of a show besides Lost that I can remember.
Elizabeth Mitchell was absolutely fantastic in every way. I'm so glad she is portraying a character with more than one emotion! She's an amazing actress. Morena Baccarin (Firefly) as Anna, the V leader, is very good as well, not to mention, stunningly ...
