Law and order had a crossover episode with SVU called "entitled part 2" where the case was solved.. I think it is from season 10 of that show..But I'm not sure.. My first SVU Fanfic! What if CO Harris came back? www.fanfiction.net/~cahilla

Thanks! EDIT: After checking here on IMDb, the episodes aired back to back on Feb 18th 2000. I taped the SVU marathon on USA the other day and 'Entitled' was one of the episodes. I feel kinda cheated, they should've aired 'Entitled Part II' right after it. I'm looking forward to seeing it now. This Machine Kills Fascists!!!

It's boring for people who are more set to understand police practical stuff instead of the more cerebral courtroom work. But, if it was so bad, why did Alex Cabot become so loved, if not because of her performance? In that case, they should make the scenes more like L&O, more standable. Perhap it's hard for people who like action flicks to understand how exciting the court life can be. Haven't you at lest seen enough...

Sorry. I meant the OVERALL ratings for the show. Not just those episodes. I know I tuned in for those episodes because Dick Wolf handled it AMAZINGLY. Come on- given the previews, anyone that knew Hargitay was about to take off for Maternity thought that she was gonna be in the hospital for a while on the show. Switching it around and making it about their partnership and them "getting too close" was perfect. But it still...

I totally agree with everything you said.
After years of producing this show, the writers and producers know what draws a crowd and what keeps them hooked. The "What if tonight" factor is just one of the tactics they used to have people coming back week after week. The E/O moments are used to keep the shippers at happy so they have hope the next episode will be the one.
