Meryl Streep were engaged till I saw it on here a couple months ago. But then I just realized that she got married 6 months after he died. But she and her husband are still married so I guess when its right, its right.

I'm just wondering how close they were as friends because they worked together in 3 films and in Dog Day Afternoon and
Godfather part 2 they worked brillaintly with each other when they had scenes together. I also read that they worked together in theatre prtoductions and things like that. I also heard that Pacino suggested Cazale for Fredo is that true? Thanks

I wonder how long they were going out when he died. I never hear her mention him much in any of her interviews, however I'm sure at the time she mentioned him alot.

This guy was a great actor. I've seen him in The Godfather I and II, and The Deer Hunter. His role in The Godfather II was fantastic. I don't think the character of
Fredo could have been cast any better. Much too young to pass on. Not too many other actors can say that with only a handful of movies in a career, he won't easily be forgotten. Not a lot of people know his name, but ...
