I want to see Indy take on one last beautiful epic adventure with a good, scary intense story. Someone mentioned something about violence and disturbing moments that give it occult status - I completely agree, and was extremely disappointed in Indy 4. 5 should be a blend of the original 3 with an updated look and feel but following a similar line of extravagant adventures with some realism. Not a...

Gathered from the fans of this film on this board: This is a Great Film if: * You "just watch it-don't think about it". * You're not a Film Maker and or don't have (or want to have) any knowledge about film * You "truly love Indy"- a fictional charcator * You just want to be inocently "entertained" and or "just have fun". * You are related or employed by George Lucas and or Steven ...

i thought it was a very fun movie, i dont understand why people talk about indiana surviving inside of a fridge getting nuked isnt realistic when in the last movies there were ghosts and invisible bridges.

Use monkeys to help an annoying sidekick character Tarzan his way around the jungle, catch up with a speeding car and fight with the main antagonist. Fun!

Ive noticed alot of people saying that this movie "sucked". I'd like to know exactly what this conclusion is based on? I've looked at some of the statistics of this film and haven't been able to find a single consensus which backs up this statement. I looked at the box office numbers (which represent the amount of dollars the average movie goer paid to see the film), and the total was ...

I'll state my bias up front: I had low expectations going into this film. With George Lucas attached for story, I anticipated the same flaws that brought down the Star Wars prequels. So I stayed away from the theatrical run and waited until the film was available online. The Good: There were occasional moments that recreated the chemistry of the originals. The sequence where Indy climbs ...

I know alot of people out there love spielberg and lucas, and will be saying im just another person who thinks its cool to say i hate the new indy film. Or that the film is the same standard as the old trilogy but we as an audience have moved on and grown up. BUT!!! Thats just pants, its like a parent saying their kid is good looking when they're ugly, they just dont want to admit it! ...

All you defenders of the film need to make up your minds. I'm seeing on thread after thread the same two arguments if someone says they didn't like the film. First, if the person that didn't like it says they had good expectations for the film and were let down, the defenders say in response, " Your expectations were just too high," or "If you'd have gone in with lower expectations, you ...

You just posted like 5 times in a row and went back a page or two to make sure you replied to everyone that commented on something you said. Did you really need to do that?? One post would have been enough.

You're all right about me- I better come clean-I only post so I seem superior...but really: I AM a big, fat, skinny, dumbass, fool, jerk, pompass, 10 year old troll- who only loves to insult, repeat, irritate, argue and repeat myself- and I'm not even a fun troll either. You have my word on it. I'm in fact a lonely underpants wearing man and woman... (surgeons are standing by) I come here ...

Since all the hype has boiled down and most people now have a firm opinion of the film be it positive or negative. You would think that all the petty bickering would have stopped as it is after all just a movie...something that really isn't very important at all in the grand scheme of things. Yet it just keeps going, now doesn't anyone here find that to be just a little stupid? Seriously who ...

Someone may have said something similar to this at some point, but I think people hate Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (as well as the Star Wars prequels) because they're of a different generation. When I say that, I mean that a lot of people were literally raised on Raiders, Temple, and Crusade. These movies are a special part of people's childhood, and they did a wonderful job of transporting us...

This has already been argued about a kajillion times, but the overwhelming fanboy hatred for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is just too hilarious to keep quiet about. There was nothing about this movie that didn't make it a worthy addition to the Indy Saga. It had great action and humor, just like the originals. The thing that nearly drives me to tears (because I'm laughing so hard) is that ...

What's wrong with Indy 4? I liked it. It was pure, pulp entertainment. It was never meant to be anything more than that. I've never understood all of the little gripes about the movie that have somehow been considered major issues. It used CGI? So what? Spielberg and his crew were simply using the best tools available to them in order to make the best looking movie possible. The...
