Season 3 is awful, I'm surprised people put it in the same category as season 1+2. Season 2 was really the high point of the series. They move things in a different direction from season 1 which was also pretty good though imo. The Ari character had it's best mix of writing and acting in season by a very wide margin but if you like the contrived story line of a scum bag who would do anything to succeed turning into a guy with a heart...

What I don't get is that if Medellin was sooooooo bad, why did the film festival accept it in the first place? Also, I remember a scene where they said the makeup looked awful on Vince. That could be part of the reason it bombed. E said that he was told that it would play well on film. Apparently it didn't.

Nowhere to go but up for Vince?

Yeah, I've always thought there would be at least one episode that focuses on the Oscars, or maybe the Golden Globes or something. E's new job does open the doors for some pretty interesting stuff. You'd think that we'll be seeing some more Anna Farris type stuff, where E starts having to devote time and energy to other clients. That way if Vince fires him, it'll be nothing more than a bad day. Ha...I do hope we get to...

I think its lack of success was foreshadowed by Walsh's obession with the girl that Drama was having sex with and generally preposterous behaviour throughout production.
The scenes filmed during this time alone were what E and everyone thought looked great, until Walsh demanded stupid changes to the script and reshoots which could be argued, were unnecessarily a part of his huge ego as a ...

Some of mine are:
- Ari telling Vince at airport that he was offered studio head, and Vince not reacting the way he had hoped. I love that little scene because for one Ari's reaction, where he goes from being happy, to confused, to realizing he doesnt want the studio job, all in 3 seconds with the look on his face. Just great acting.
-Vince firing Eric in "Return to queens boulevard" badass...

As someone who's of a relatively similar stature to Kevin Connolly, I take offence to that. Take the Seth Green incident for example, what guy wouldn't be ready to punch him in the face after that? And he did, and Green deserved it.
Even the guys said E got into some fights in high school, which he won so obviously he's got something going for him. Considering his size, if he's actually got ...

You're asking a very difficult question to which there is no definitive answer. People's tastes are different.
I suspect some people watch the show to vicariously participate in the hedonistic lifestyle. Some might watch it just for the very nice looking ladies on it who occasionally get naked.
Personally, I do some acting and my wife and youngest daughter are doing pretty well in the ...

better writing for starters. go back to the old formula of it being about the Entourage with Vince at the forefront. less of the agency side plots, only need to show the agency when Vince and E meet with Ari and Drama with Lloyd. more screen time for Barbara, Shauna, Marvin, and Dana Gordon. Turtle gets his balls back.

Vince is a laid back guy. I think his most redeeming quality is he is loyal and he cares about his brother and friends. Also I admire his principles about the business. Even though some might say that has hurt him in the past(not doing A2)

The problem is that they've kind of used the Vince's-whole-career-is-in-jeopardy story arc. While there's room to do it again, it's repetitive.
I also liked the show better when the backbone of the season was Vince's career. That's what's most interesting to me. Some fairly boorish guys just being boorish you can see anywhere. Conceivably, it would be possible to fashion a story-arc on the ...

They didn't need Werner Herzog's permission because they changed his name to Werner Volnut or something like that.
They did the same thing with Harvey Weinstein, changing his name to Harvey Weingard. However, it's easier to see why Weinstein didn't appear: he's obscenely rich and doesn't act. Herzog has acted in or narrated a ton of movies.
But yeah, Seth Green and Jason Patric played ...

I'd have to go with Gary Busey. When Vince and the crew go to Busey's house to try to buy the desk for E's new office and Drama ends up covered in paint as one of Busey's abstract art pieces. Freakin' hilarious! Gary Busey is so far out there, you almost have to believe he was just being himself and they just let the cameras roll as he did his thing.
