If you're referring to the episode where Martha claimed she was fired because she voted for McCain/Palin, and her boss called her an idiot because she voted for McCain/Palin, then obviously you didn't watch the episode. The boss claimed he fired her because she was an idiot. She was an idiot because she didn't understand the policies of the different candidates, couldn't differentiate between the candidates campaigns,...

bbeard3- Yes I agree that FDR got the ball rolling on socialism. And I think it's been ruining our country ever since. There are other solutions, much better solutions, but most politicians in either party don't have the cojones to offer them. Most likely they'd never get elected. People get what they want because they vote for it. It seems that, sadly, more and more Americans want OTHER people's money. They vote for the...

I actually have a friend that close. I'm comfortable enough with my sexuality and we both have girlfriends. We've hugged, slept together in hotels when there's only one bed or when we pass out drunk on the same bed lol. However, we have not danced together.

Sorry Lake, I missed your post until now! Thanks for welcoming back. I was never really away, but Mr. McAvoy does require a lot of attention. I've also been busy doing some real-life harrassment, and writing an essay on Boston Legal! Kimberly, I agree with you, Fox's performance was fantastic. I was so excited when I first heard he'd come on the show, because he was my favourite actor when I was a kid, and I still adore him. He...

I remember the Boston Public one but not the others. Damn 2oth century for not releasing all of DEK's shows on dvd. I have the bootlegged BP because I enjoyed that show so much but the quality was piss poor and I refuse to order more bootlegged versions. I want the real deal. I can't believe they release season one of PF and not the other three. "I've never statutory raped anyone before." Sweet Dee, It's...

That's because "news" is a business instead of a calling! I' a 35 year old European and I was raised in an environment were news hat the sole purpose of transporting information instead of opinion, where keeping the people informed about current events (local and worldwide) seemed to be a higher calling. But now "news" is just a business and profit is the higher calling! :-( US networks were the...

At the end of the show when Denny and Alan look up and say thanks, were they saying it to God or to us the audience? Denny looked right into the camera so I didn't know. I also loved the priceline line from Alan to Denny. That was a great episode. On a side note, I thought a lot of people in the firm already knew Shirley and Carl were together? Was that a continuity error?

Boston Legal is the best show ever! Last night's episode proved that even when its not in the court room it is a most excellent show! Everything about it was superb! What a great show, I am going to miss it when it ends! Did anyone catch when Edwin Poole was talking about the firm/show to Shirley he said "it's cancelled?" To which Shirley said "well, I think Carl overstated that, I think we ...

I know that I might just have my hopes up here, but has anyone else noticed that in at least two episodes in this final season 5 they have mentioned something of the sort regarding a potential spinoff? A razor sharp script (by show creator David E. Kelley) and some brilliant ensemble acting were the foundation of the best episode of the season thus far, a warm and funny character study of the dysfunctional law firm as the gang from Crane, Poole, & Schmidt gather at Shirley Schmidt's house for Thanksgiving, accompanied by Alan's arch enemy, Melvin Palmer (Christopher Rich) and name partner and ...

So, now that they're in their final season, do the writers of Boston Legal not care which demographic of their audience they insult? We were greated last week by Alan Shore stating that the 47% of McCain voting Americans are idiots! I don't mind knowing the political beliefs of the writers, I think it's been pretty clear since season one, but this is just absurd. The episode that aired the ...

In your REAL LIFE, have you met two (or more) STRAIGHT guys who are COMFORTABLE with their sexuality and develop friendship like Alan and Denny. I mean, they've dance together, they've slept in the same bed together, they've hugged each other when the other's having a bad time, etc. You see where i'm going with this. So my point is have you met guys like this in person?

I am in season 3 right now, and I have really enjoyed the show thus far. Only one facet of the show has really put me off... the episode where Denise discovers Post's death...the whole episode just doesnt strike the right chord. Instead of being distraught, they have a comic routine in a haunted house. The whole story line just ended badly. Anyone else feel this way?
