I just checked it out at the library a few days ago. I much prefer the uncut version and actually am furious at studio execs thinking we as the audience (I'm talking U.S. audiences) need one last car chase scene to end the film. That scene was pointless and the uncut version ended seamlessly without it. If you have the chance, rent the uncut version. It's much more professional of a movie. ...

Sorry, but Children of men was way better than Babylon A.D. Children of men had a very realistic setting, Babylon AD has a lot of over the top action scenes. And Clive Owen is a good actor which Vinni isn`t in most of his movies

Me too! I can only imagine that one white and one black child signifies human unity. I'm playing all the right notes, just not necessarily in the right order.

yeah i heard they cut all that footage out because they were over budget and ran out of money in post production. Hopefully FOX and Kassovitz will revisit this and restore the scenes making a true directors cut. I have a feeling theres a real good movie here like Blade Runner. the DVD version does suck, i agree with everyone else, feels like theres plenty of holes.

I completely agree with you. We watched this last night and couldn't believe how awful it was. Weak story, diabolical acting (especially the huge-lipped girl), and a pointless ending that made little sense. Absolute rubbish, avoid. British by birth, English by the grace of fate.
