Questiona bout the mom?
Published (2009-12-02 03:42:00)
Ok, so Don looks back at the window that she's banging on asking him to come back. We then see a second later her get pulled by the infected and we never see her again. There's a flashback scene that shows she left the house with minor wounds and made it to the forest up the hills. How is this even possible? If the infected rage people had their way with her as depicted when Don looks back and she vanishes, they would've...

However, you're forgetting the fact that the virus doesn't destroy all human traits and characteristics, it just distorts them. It doesn't turn people into zombies, it pumps them full of RAGE, maddening them to the point of murderous, cannibalistic tendencies. Best answer. Actually, in 28 Weeks, the only thing that bothers me is the ninja-Don thing, but this was one good explanation to that. It doesn't change my opinion,...

There is no indication in the movie whatsoever to suggest that Sam on the Isle of Dogs during the 2nd outbreak is the same Sam that the girl in the beginning that stupidly looked out the window thus drawing attention to themselves. So cut it out.

i actually thought 28 days was boring the first time i saw it cuz i was going off what i saw on the trailers. it took me repeated viewings to warm up to it. then again when it first came out i was about 17 and didnt enjoy anything without constant crashes and booms. now my tastes are much more refined.

Doyle made it worthwhile to me ;) And besides, that's your opinion, not everyone else's. Every single movie is going to be hated by one individual or the other, no matter how good it is.

should i see 28 days later first?

If you're asking just for mindless action and cool effects, then skip the first, watch the second Can't just sit seeing you talk like that. 28 Weeks Later is a better action/thriller than many, many, many, many action/thrillers. What did you expect? Dance with Wolves? To the OP: Just watch both of them, in order. They are very different films. The second one 'looks' more technically sound, has a terrific background score...

Apart from firebombing when you have gas, gathering everyone together and turning the lights out. The decision to kill everyone was a very good one, and if it had been executed properly, France would not have been infected. _ "It's like you don't know me at all mate"

I just watched it
and watched the ending a few times
Now it shows the boy being bitten, and the sister noticing the discoloration in one eye
Now he and the mother had One Blue eye and one Brown eye, so he might have been a carrier as she was.
He didn't exhibit any rage, just looked tired in the last shot. The sis kept him behind her getting on the helicopter so the soldier wouldn't...

Did you even watch this movie? Some people that are immune can carry it. And maybe a vial or some other sample of it for scientists infects someone? You're welcome for having to do the thinking for you.

Blood from the chopper or his blood got on Flynn, then Flynn is the new carrier and starts up the new wave.

France would not have been infected if the boy's stupid curiousity didn't ruin everything, I guess he got it from his father who is just as curious.

You should definitely see 28 days later.
Firstly, It's a far better movie. I suggest you must see it :)
Secondly, 28 weeks later continues the first. It doesn't explain much about the outbreak. In fact, it doesn't explain anything.
If you like the first part, and find it good and intelligent, then you can simply skip Weeks. It's nothing(!) like it.
If you're asking just for mindless ...

I've been told that many IMDB Pro sites don't have much information sadly. Also, if they divulge info, it might be a breach of their terms of use (conditions of the contract). However, Alex Garland is involved if you check out his page.
