I certainly don't mind it...I'm looking forward to getting my own scouter. It's coming. But to call us prototypes? Come on now. I think evolution has done a damn good job over the past few million years. We'll continue to evolve in response to our environment, which now includes machines and computers. No need for a 'prototype' and a 'finished product', or to assume that one generation of man is better...

Governments should develope programmes to sustain it's country's populations, as they aren't doing anything to curb the number of pregnancies of those with lesser means of sustaining their offspring.

Nobody is arguing against the fact that science is an essential step in the evolution of human consciousness without advanced technology the sustainable management of an entire planet is impossible the argument is against scientist's cynical attitude and dismissal of super-natural influences without respect for the moral government such belief has on human behavior The spread of AIDS is a graphic example of modern moral decrepitude...

Published (2009-12-28 06:55:00)
I think memory, and body are definitely the most important keys to the self. Even if you have a problem where your memory keeps getting skewed up bad all the time, so you remember being in the store yesterday one moment, and the next you remember yesterday you were a soldier in the southeast camping in the rain, as long as you have a memory, true or false, at one moment, you can define your "self" based on that. And if you...

It's ignorant to think we aren't having an impact on our planet. Yes, the problem is exaggerated. To say that it's a hoax is also an exaggeration. Also, who cares of it's man-made or not? Warming is happening and we should consider what this means. Warming or not, we should be taking a lot of these measures anyway.

Gotta be science. Religion isn't going to pay the bills. "Consider the lillies, do they not toil or spin?" Jesus. That's all very well if you are a lilly. I can't lie naked in a field and expect God to feed and clothe me. Well I could but It's cold and I'd be dead by morning.

Physicks is the only true physics. Physics is mythology and superstition. An angel told me so. Of course I believe in the facts, am I retarded or a creationist? People who should know, tell me that it is so. If they are wrong other people tell me that too. Then I go away and make up my mind for myself based on some sort of logic. This is an offshoot of the Crackpot Index thread. There are some misconceptions about a very simple concept in that thread: frequency. This is probably somewhat esoteric, but I'm trying to be as plain as possible. If anyone has any questions or corrections let me know. Frequency is the reciprocal of the period of a cyclical process.
