I am certain you have seen these:
Main
Looks a bit like a Serengeti. I am curious of the price. I know

Sounds like you have quite a set up/
I think you are on to it here:
Quote:
The trailer has two Optima blue tops. How should I charge them? I believe the "standard" method is to route #10 wires from the main battery to the 7pin RV plug for
trickle charging the trailer batteries. The trailer is already setup up for this configuration, but the tow vehicle is not...

Nice find and great story. Those old military tires are the shit. They can go much further than you would think

Now a tech question:
Where do I get 6 lug hubs for this trailer? I am pretty sure that they are out there, I just don't know where to look.
Keeping one spare around will be great.

axle is 5200lb axle with 4" drop. Had to use a die and thread another inch on the ubolts in order to account for the difference is axle diameter.

About
half way down the page are some pictures...its a lot of trailer. I think the m105 has the split rims and SOA to start with.
Google Image Result for http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc177/hooch364/ Trailer3.jpg
Part of the post explains the m101'2 and the differences between them. My next build is on the M116A2....700lbs empty and has a surge brake.
