PHX to DFW

Driving from PHX to DFW are there any routes through West Texas that are more scenic than I20 but won't put me out of the way too much?

Yep, there's lots of ways. But, they're all two lane, no shoulder, and have random, slow moving tractors on them. I20 (and I10) see most of the traffic because they are the best roads. Of course US 66 is something everyone should do, it's a bit north of I20. Hwy 62, 82, and 84 all run from dry, open New Mexico through dry, open Texas. I would carry water and a blanket along those roads, they're empty between towns. Oh......

Has there been any talk about having a parts auction to add to the donation? I know we have done that in years past.

I need some clarification on the dates for the ad. I see we have Wednesday too. Is this date for us (LSLC) to get there and setup or is it for early arrivals too? I thought it runs from Thursday to Sunday?
So which dates do we need for the ad, 17-21 or 18-21?

Cool - welcome to Texas! I haven't lived in those specific areas so I won't be much help with picking a neighborhood. Traffic seems to move pretty well on the tollway (we still say The Tollway when referring to Dallas North Tollway even though there are several tollways now). Frisco to Plano is only a couple more miles so commute between the two will be similar. Someone will probably tell me...

I don't mind wheeling with a Taco. Open bed is great for hauling firewood to camp.
If you really want to get solid tech advice for the Taco you need to join up with our Lonestar Toyotas fraternal organization, Toyota Trail Riders. These guys are the local Taco knowledge base and a good bunch of guys.
