Your best off skipping the manifolds that are made for TBI and going with a standard squarebore manifold and using an adapter to mate the throttle body. With a good tune, bored TB, vortec heads, cam, intake and exhaust, you will have a very noticable difference, probably over 100hp. skip any of those items and you will drastically cut the output.

Reminds me of a guy on PBB who cut his 4runner down using the same method. His username was appropriate, "Chopperman" I'm loving this thing with the new bed!

Well, what will it take? Is it more orders needed or more demand. This seems to be an inevitable step in mods. There are already diff gear options, locker options, skid plates, intake & exhaust options, sliders , bumpers, awd to part time conversion, suspension kits, the only mod that is crucial & lacking is the transfer case.

The heater core finally showed up today while I'm at work so I'll get to rip apart the dash next week although I'm not really looking forward to it. If I get enough parts off of the firewall I'll used the other sheet of sound deadener and rip out the factory stuff. I hope two days will be enough to get it swapped out. Just in time because next weekend (Dec 6th) is the club's christmas tree run and with the family...

part of my problem was that I had the wrong xdf file open in tunerpro. Now that I have the right one open thing make a little more sense and I can at least follow along with some of the longer "tuning the ebl" posts... I just home from my daughter's soccer practice so I didnt get a chance to play tonight. Hopefully I'll have time after work tomorrow.

Hi All: Considering buying a pair of one or 1.25 inch bolt-on wheel spacers to use on the rear axle of my FJ40. I see that there are several venders selling wheel spacers - Trail Gear, Marlin Crawler, All Pro, and others as well I'd imagine. Anyone have any recommendations on which brand of wheel spacers are the best? Who sells 'em the cheapest? Thanks much! ...

hi forum members, i own a HZJ 79 Land Cruiser Pick-up with a 1UZ-FE-A341E combo. I would like to mate 1UZ-FE to a H151F 5-speed manual transmission, does anyone here have any experience or knowledge on whether its a bolt-on and if so, what are the parts required for this? Thanks everyone.
