Don't do it! Soa both or none. Ask Jsaltlick. Having gone w/ the sua lift springs- recently- I'll vote for SOA both, now. You have the springs for soa. You'll need some perches and bushings and someone to do the cutting and welding. Some guys round here are for using the old man emu springs for the 70 series cruiseres. Talk to Curt......cruiseroutfit.???Hope that helps

I've got bilstiens 5200s in my 55 after seeing them recommended numerous times. I ran plain old Rancho 5ks back in mid 90s on my FJ40... HATED them. That was stock FJ40 springs and those. I ran Rancho 9ks back in the late 90s on my SOA FJ40 with stock springs. More money than they were worth. They sat on either 4 or 5 out of 5. Any lower and the thing swayed like you wouldn't believe.

I guess I should put my drive informaiton in the post. I live in Dallas and only have 5 miles one way to work daily. I have leased SUV's for the last 15 years and put less than 12K miles a year on them. I mostly fly when I travel. My current lease will be up in 2 years which is why I want to get the pig now and know what to expect and fix before it would be my daily vehicle. If I can do that and have the pig and mods paid for by then, I...

Yeah. The ride kinda sucked when it was half and half. Also the back end sagged lower than the front by about 3 inches. As an added not, I used 60 series springs with sleeved ends. Worked well and cheap!

This is kind of a long question. I have a 75 pig that has a 350 sm465 np 203 to a 4sp. toyota tranfer case on 38's. It is currently on SUA fj55 axles front and rear that have been converted to disc's front and rear. I have had this pig for a few years but not wheeled it much due to something always needing fixed upgraded and not having the time or the money to do the fixing. Right now the major ...
