yup, they superceeded it to a new one. We will still be getting it. It's a little more streamlined install. I was debating waiting for the new one or going with the old. I went with the old.

You could certainly try one. There's no room for a cheater bar, most common approach is to get the wrench on the nut and then crush the shock with a pipe wrench or pliers and rotate the shock.

Mine has a whole timeline, having it for 10 years will make you mix it up.

I took the rear section off of the middle console and was able to get power from the accessory plug-in wires behind the cupholder. I was also able to stuff all the loose wires and the connector box in the area above the cupholder. It was a tight fit, but looks clean from the back.

the starter is a PITA to get to, the rest of the things you mentioned are easy.

EDIT: now that i'm awake I realized I sent the extra cross bar I had to utahfj62. so unless its the screw holding the foot in the rail or the bolt holding the feet on then I'm fresh out.

Easy way to tell is to jump on the bumper on that side and then hop off. If the truck doesn't stop moving up and down, the shock is dead.

What if you have a new key that has the remote built in recently purchased from Toyota. Is this a master key? If not what am I loosing by not having the master key? Shane

What tire and size? Looks like a 33. Is that an 06? Lifted or AHC in High mode?

I want to move from 866s to 863s sometime as well. When I install my Slee skidplate here soon it's gonna be sagging....

Why factory? There are plenty of aftermarket alternatives (and better and cheaper) available. $12.5k is a little high for a '99.
