Yep, I'm using a newer lens. From what I've read on some other forums, they allow the lens to go beyond infinity so that if there are any slight variations in the lens, it won't keep you from being able to focus to infinity. Not sure if this is true, but it sounds believable.

Thanks. Here are some scanned ones of the canyon from my rangefinder mf camera. I havn't had the time to really retouch these as well. And I am not very well versed on film scanning. and then here are a few more black and whites from my d80 from this weekend.

From a photo shoot inside of a diner cart my photography professor held a few months back. I had the absolute worst spot of anybody during the shoot and pleased to see that at least one picture turned out.

unitskater posted: Great pics. I've tried taking shots of the sky twice now, but both came out pretty blurry... and now just today I realized turning the focus all the way to the end isn't focusing to infinity like my brother told me . Looking forward to trying again early next week with the meteor shower passing by. Focussing can be tricky, it's a lot easier using Live View through a laptop, but you still need something...

I'm not trying to be mean here, but the photos you're selling on that site are not worth the prices you're charging. Not even close. You need to work on your photography A LOT more before you worry about making a website and trying to tell your photographs. Date Edited: 12/12/2009 2:08:52 AM (1 edit total) edited by : fixjuxa2

I am not an astrophotography guy. But the camera store I go to, it is called oceanside photo and telescope sells these adapters for dslr cameras that you use to connect the telescope to the camera. you don't use a camera lens at all. http://www.optcorp.com/...

Looks ok. The website is kind of simple. I don't know if it is good that the way you display your photos is good the way they are currently. I would think showing a bigger and more direct photo of the ones that are framed would be better for a buyer to see your work. They are kind of hard to see right now the way they are shown framed ...

One thing to keep in mind is the relationship between ISO and sensor resolution. Insanely high ISO is available now for cameras whose manufacturers are restrained enough to limit the sensor to 12MP or so. But yeah, I would think that through both hardware and firmware/software advances, ISO ratings will continue to climb while noise levels...

First of all you should get canon's 50 1.8, as that should be included in everyones camera bag. Second in order to even out the sky with the ground you need to get a ND grad filter. Like this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/446647-REG/T iffen_6666DVSEK3_6_6_x_6_6_4mm.html listen, i am not saying that kit because it is ...

That's really really vague. What do you shoot? Portraits? Action shots? Do you need really low light performance? Video? It really just depends on what you shoot. I have a 5d mark II, but as good as the camera is, it's not suitable for action/sports. We need more details....
