Thank you for very helpful posts. I will definitely be trying some form of peppermint. I am certainly grateful that my pain is dull rather than extreme. And I realized right away that dull left side pain is better than sharp right side pain, as there is much less chance that there is a serious problem with an organ. At least this is a wakeup call that I need to watch what I eat and make sure I have adequate fiber in my diet. I will post again...
