Hi, I have several content referenced in the local rendering portlet. When I load the portal page when a logged-in user the images are displayed correctly but when the page is loaded using the anonymous user the images are not displayed. I can see that the image is requested with an url like /wps/myconnect/... which I think is restricted to non-anonymous user. How can I change the URL generation for the images? is that the problem? Thanks in...

Portal restricts access based on Portal Access Control settings (assigned to groups and users). Portal has no way to restrict access based on source IP address. You might investigate using an external security manager. Regarding the internal Portal port, that should be secured by a firewall, assuming Portal is in a DMZ.

I did not use badboy, but I had similiar problem, all submit form can not be tested. I think it is the request URL problem in JMeter as WebSphere always output 'invalid message Id'. If we could define the friendly portlet URL like friendly page URL, then use the friendly portlet URL in JMeter, it should work.

To add to the above question, I tried adding a custom TDS attribute to VMM as below: TDS Attribute added to ePerson objectclass: isAccountEnabled, whose oid=1.3.18.0.2.4.726, and the TDS data type is Boolean (syntax OID=1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.7); "isAccountEnabled" is mapped to VMM using the following: la.dataType=Boolean la.entityTypes=PersonAccount l a.multiValued= ...

see if this helps you.... WPS 6.1.5 feature pack is available for your case, you would first need to apply fix pack 3 and then you can use this feature pack to update portal to 6.1.5 "Migration to WebSphere Portal Version 6.1.5 from Version 5.1 or 6.0 is not supported. If your portal installation is based on either version, you must first migrate to 6.1 and then apply fix...

If this works on IE 6 and 7, I think it's IE 8's problem. Try Microsoft support. -FF The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent the positions, strategies or opinions of IBM.

Meta Data for a page can be set in page properties. In page properties, go to advanced tab, click on "i want to set parameters..." add a new parameter and give its value. This parameter can be retrieved in theme which will include this parameter in all the pages. So whenever you need to fetch the meta data for a page it is available on the page.

in addition to my previous post... I've tried the following code to attach an image, however I got the java.io.FileNotFoundException error message. messageBodyPart = new MimeBodyPart(); DataSource fds = new FileDataSource (<full URL path of the image>); messageBodyPart.setDataHandler(new DataHandler(fds)); messageBodyPart.setHeader("Content-ID",<image id>);
