Checkbox builder

So you're saying that you are expecting values with single quotes in them from the checkbox? I believe that there is a known bug that this doesn't work, and I believe that it has been fixed. (I don't recall what release, but I would guess 6.1.2, or even a point release of that.)

Dojo Tooltip issue in IE8
Published (2009-11-25 14:48:00)
I haven't used IE8 myself, but you may want to try this with WPF6.1.5 and WP 6.1.5 which use a newer version of Dojo (1.3.x). It looks like Dojo had some issues with the Tooltip and IE8 in the Dojo 1.2.x timeframe, according to the Dojo bug tracking system at: http://trac.dojotoolkit.org/ticket/8429 ..mb1

Can anyone provide guidance on how to highlight individual fields and rows dynamically in a Data Page when the fields fail validation? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

WPF support for Expeditor 6.2.1

While Expeditor 6.1 worked, the project requires Expeditor 6.2.1 so I ended up writing the plug-in using the XPD 6.2.1 toolkit.

I suspect you could use Attribute Setter(s) to set CSS class names on the row and field elements, based on the validation status of the current row - this might be a good place for a ${MethodCall/...} reference.

Checkbox builder

As I have the same scenario of the input parameter with single quotes for a select(dropdown box) from the RDD builder and it works well but only with this check box builder am not able to get any data. I have even tried to get the check box form RDD but it was rendering a text box rather than a box to check or uncheck.

Thanks so much Steve, it worked I used webAppAccess.processPage("page2"); as "callAction" gave method not found error. One question I have is which method we can call to make the state of a Tab(in page tabs) appear disabled.. I want the Tab2 content to be shown but the tab state to be diabled.

Are you running Portal with clustering / failover enabled? The stack trace contains a call to "WebAppInstanceData.restoreFromFailover". Does your model use a variable that is not serializable? If the users log-out and then back in, does the problem go away?

Without knowing what that RowSet data includes for otherfile values it's a little hard to tell what's going on there - also it's not clear how you are putting that URL tag on the page from that description, so it's hard to say what's duplicating that portion of the URL. Note, the default upload location is only intended to be a temporary location where the file sits during the ...

Hi. I have to apologize that you took that advice. In response to this note, I made myself a little test and I see that there are big problems with using the trick that I suggest in that other thread. First, when it detects a row with the delete checkbox checked, it skips the saving of the rest of the data in the row. Second, as you found, even if you set the checkbox data, it ...

If you search for "Checkbox" in the above search input, you'll find a number of threads with this same or similar question, along with a similar answer to what Steve gave in the forum post that you reference, which is to use Data Field Modifier to set the input type so that DataPage/ViewAndForm/PageAutomation knows your field is a checkbox. Low level builders such as Text Input, ...

If the profiling is setup properly then it should be working. You may want to check that the permission for the groups is setup properly. The following Wiki article describes how to do this: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/pfwiki.nsf/dx/ibm-usi ng-the-wps-group-segment-handler- You can also enable debug logging for the WPS Group Segment Handler to see what groups it thinks the users ...

When you run a portlet in a WebSphere Portal page (6.1 or later) portal has already loaded its version of Dojo on the page, so the portlets don't load yet another (possibly different/conflicting) version of Dojo - they just use what the portal has already loaded. I've heard that WPF 6.1.5 (and I believe WP 6.1.5) should be available in the next couple of days, so you may want to ...

I believe that the HttpSession instance being retrieved here is not the HttpSession object corresponding to the outer HTTP servlet session, but is rather a wrapper around the JSR PortletSession object associated with the portlet in question: the request object passed to the selection handler is a wrapper around a PortletRequest, and its getSession returns a wrapped portlet session. ...

The problem is not that sequence_class doesn't work. The problem is that you are creating a new sequence with every field. Since nothing is repeated, you are always getting the first one and never moving on. The difference is that a row is actually repeated in the JSP. When you are using the DisplayField construct from the HTML Template, this isn't a repeat, it is using the ...
