That's it.
The photography world is officially ruined. I think HB ruined it when by everyone getting DSLR's just for fit pics.
And for gods sake, if the dude is going to talk about cameras and probably is really into them, the least he can do is pronounce "NY-KON" right.

dude don't do it, that camera is a piece of shit, i work at bestbuy and play with dslrs all day, not an experst but getting there, but you could get alot better nikon like the d40 o d40x, d60,d80 hell even look at the pentax kx or panasonc gh1 or gf1, anything but a d3000

get a D40 while you still can because they are no longer in production forget about getting a D60 or a D3000 in those camera you pay more for nothing that is really that much greater than what the D40 already offers

it's a decent zoom lens but check for a 18-200mm lens buy sigma or tamron or tokia maybe even a 18-250mm for 100 dollars more and they are good everyday lenses, good zoom, good macro, good wide angle, just a thought

No... But there's a way you can name them in sequence through Windows, and probably Mac OS.
You arrange them in the order you want them to be in, then you hightlight them all. Then, in Windows, press F2, and the first one should be the one that's enabled to be renamed. When you rename it, it will rename all the rest in sequenced (...
