I'm not sure if it does what you want, but the most affordable DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) is Reaper ($60 USD for home use & non-profits). Audacity (FREE!!!) has something called Envelope Editing , which allows you to adjust the volume , but I don't believe it has a similar feature for EQ. hi audioapprentice. I haven't had the need to use MIDI trhu, but are you sure that you actually need two connections? Isn't the purpose precisely to "mix" (in a way...) MIDI streams? And he's said he's using an older version, so the configuration doesn't look the same. Maybe the older software didn't support multiple MIDI inputs.
