Hey, does anyone know anything about the new "0.2" version of HDCD.exe? http://www.srcf.ucam.org/~cjk32/hdcd/ It's been there since November. I can't find any indication of what's been changed/improved. The fact that http://www.srcf.ucam.org/~cjk32/hdcd/hdcd.zip points to this new build makes me think its stable?

As mentioned in another thread, I got my hands on a PX-716SA that has under 200 burning hours. (BTW, does anyone know what the letters mean behind the number in PXInfo? My drive has a "D".) I've got the AD-7241 - its probably the exact same electronics - I'm happy with it, its not as good as my old plextor but it seems good at reading most discs. I've got another computer which i think has a samsung dvd and its considerably faster at DAE that the sony, but it also has picks up more read & sync errors that the sony. You should be able to achieve this using the Compression Queue Control Centre. Press Ctrl+Q to open the dialogue, and check "Make all compression tasks sleep". Once all WAVE files have been created (once you have ripped the disc) uncheck that checkbox and all compression tasks will run. I don't use it, but this should work IIRC.
