High Output Alternators For...

I don't know what JeffP put on his car, or what it cost, but the cost per amp is comparable...and it's BIG. There is no substitute for size in a generator.

Interesting offer (long and boring)
Published (2009-11-26 21:52:00)
After spending time looking at the situation rationally, I decided that owning a fuel burning engine that has a rated life of about 3 miles would be a stupid move. So this afternoon I sent my pal a check for $1350. I'll pick up the engine in the spring when I go back to see him. Maybe by then I'll have some idea what to do with it.

Nice looking car. I've always been a fan of Subarus. Are you going to go with a front mount or just a bigger top mount?

Wedge, me too! Hope he hasn't stalled on it or given up. Liked the progress he was making so far. A real inspiration to us all. I have to redo the floors in mine. Michigan and old cars usually don't go together very well because of the salt. Not going to go the sandblasting route though. Just cut what I see is bad and weld in new. Looking for more posts Mull. Thanks for what you've done so far. Good luck.

I'm 6'3". With racing seats and custom brackets in some of my Z's I've had. It's possible to get low enough that it's hard to see over the dash. lol. Certainly leg room is more of an issue, as I have the seat back all the way in any car I drive. In this vid my friends are in the car with NO SEATS. lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akKmiHfgjbE The driver is 6'5" and passenger about...

He says late 80's which is what the Z32 was... They were out in Japan in 88 well before I left in March 89. By then they were 'all over'...
Remember Eurospec 260's are like a 1970 240Z, with slighly more weight (slightly, not like the USA) and a bigger more powerful engine. Like if you took a 70 240Z and put a round topped 260 engine in it running a minimum of a 3.7 gear (3.90 if you had the ...

Iraggi Alternators sell HO Alternator's for all you guys out there who want alittle more amperage.
He sells

I think you'll have more "reliability" issues with that Jeep then with your Z. A tow vehicle and trailer is very nice but it adds costs to your hobby. If you already have a work vehicle ( minivan?) try towing the Z on a dolly with that and see how it goes?

Firstly.....WELCOME to HB-Z family of enthusiasts. Next....I am not
laughing AT you, rather WITH you about the rust on that car !!! HOLY CRAP !
I've lived here in Missouri for the better part of my life and have only
seen rusty Z's like that come from New York or the East coast primarily
affected from the chemicals and salt products they spread to aid in the
melting of ice and snow.
Even my early ...
