I suggest you to use Arno's IPTables Firewall Script. It supports NAT as well as it is a stateful firewall. http://freshmeat.net/projects/iptables-firewall/

the router address is 192.168.1.1. i can ping it from the server. if you need it, i can give you all of the router settings. the server has a fixed address of 192.168.1.10 and the router (dhcp enabled) gives out addresses between 192.,168.1.13 and 192.168.1.150 i did not install dns on the server as i am using comcasts temporarily. hope this helps. if you need more information, p.l.e.a.s.e let me know. thanks jim s.
