Let's say you own a store and you wanted to shift your customers to your website instead of them going into the store, in order to decrease employee overhead. In order to do that you make the prices online cheaper & as time go's along and more people are taking advantage of the lower prices, you can start getting rid of some of your employees to cut cost on your bottom line. The higher prices in the store pays for the one on...

I was replying to CA if you read my original post and if I remember correctly the Samsung U540 and LG VX6100 are VZW phones so either way you're being irrelevant regardless of what forum it's in.

I can already tell you that teh Hybrid PRL will help a lot. Alltel has a strong network in your area. It can take up to 24 hours for the Hybrid PRL to work. Before the merge, I don't think VZ Navigator would work, but that's it. Now it does. I have it on my phone, but its not needed really anymore because they got done with the merge in MS and LA already.

Adding another line : Temporary
Published (2009-12-21 21:56:00)
Month-to-month is just what it says. Each month is a brand new contract for one month at $9.99. There is nothing unethical or illegal about it. You would just have to tell the rep what you want, i.e. no 1 yr or 2 yr contract. If you have excess minutes every month this would be the lowest cost for your cousin.

You can always come back, but it may be under less favorable conditions than the last time you signed up, ie. may be required to leave deposit, etc.

Thanks. I personally don't like going to Verizon Wireless corporate stores. In my experience, most of their employees are pretentious.

paying that much i would have gotten the ESN before i completed the transaction.
I would file a dispute with Ebay/paypal about this and hopefully it will get resolved.
Worst case is your out $465.

You'll find most VZW users have no use for these since we can just trade out for a new one.
I have a link for you to the 02 scr, bin, dll, brew scripts, etc.. but no v05 love.

I guess they'd rather you not patronize the store and order online instead. Probably cheaper for the company that way (for instance they don't have to pay anyone a sales commission if you order online). Whatever their reasons, they know what they're doing, and they're doing it on purpose, not randomly.

I have been told by our VZW reps that there are hybrid prls throughout the country that will prefer the Alltel network over the VZW one you just have to have it pushed to your phone by tech support. I'm not sure if all customer service reps even know about the hybrid prls or if its just tech support so if you call in I would get to the trouble making and receiving calls group within...

IMHO, hand him your old Verizon cell phone, plus a Page Plus $10 or $25 card.
I would think it would be ethically wrong to add a line, with the intent to cancel before the end of the 30-days.

Each line is a separate contract and if the fourth line was eligible for an upgrade last October, but did not take advantage of it, the line should be eligible for an upgrade now.

Verizon's nickel and dime track record already shows their crooks but are they criminals too? I wouldn't be a bit surprise if this hasn't happened to quite a few people.
On a recent bill I was charged 15 cents for receiving an International Text message...which I never received nor do

As I stated over in the AT&T forum:
AT&T is a client of Global Wireless Solutions. Verizon isn't and I don't believe that Apple is either.
The client determines what is revealed when it hires an entity to do research on its behalf. Does anyone really believe that if GWS found that AT&T wasn't "on top" that we would hear anything about it. Also, we don't see where the 3MM miles ...

Your best bet is probably to get a femtocell in your house, then you don't have to worry about the WWAN network. Getting your own cell site built is pretty much a hopeless proposition.

I'll have to say right off here that if VZW was truly told to restrict the phone to calls and messaging only (meaning mobile web and I would assume applications--basically data in general should have been blocked) then it's definitely more of VZW's error, even though the customer should have followed up and made sure that the appropriate restrictions/blocks were in fact in place. ...

I am not sure, but it may have to do with the fact that you started at Best Buy, but ended up at a corporate store. I don't know how that works.

It's $0.45 per minute. How long have you been on that plan? You could call and see if they can throw in some bonus minutes but they're getting stingy with them. There used to be one that gave you an extra 50 mins. In exchange you might need to spend the extra $10 per month and get the 700 minute plan.
