IIRC.......Isn't that the error message one gets if they try to enter an already used airtime pin? I know I have seen it before too.......... EDIT: Nope. I'm wrong. I just tried a used pin and I get this : "Our records indicate that the Airtime PIN you entered has already been used. Please enter a different Airtime PIN." But I know I have seen that other error message before...hmmm

I think the phone was worth the money just for the peace of mind it gave it as I was not happy with the lower end phones. I find texting to be easier using the virtual keyboard than using the keyboard on the R451. And it also has handwriting recognition and the good ole T9 standby... which I still use occasionally.

This is very intersting. I can now see OBEX file transfer as a service on the LG290. I haven't yet found a (working) windows XP FTP client that can link to a OBEX server. There's a Medievil Bluetooth OBEX program, but it always gives an error about no RPC avaialbel.

If there is GSM service in your area (such as Valero), you should have service. It may be roaming service, but talk and text will work (internet is limited anyway but may not be available in a roaming area). I perma-roamed for about two years with a phone and Tracfone didn't seem to care.
